2014-2015 SWAN Central Seminar

The UofA-iGlobes/CNRS SWAN project team hosts a transdisciplinary and multi-institutional Central Seminar Series, in which speakers from different disciplines and countries are invited to present their work on issues related to water. Each seminar consists of a 40-45 minute presentation followed by a 25-30 minute round table discussion.

The Central Seminar takes place on Tuesdays from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at Harshbarger Building Room 316F (1133 E James E. Rogers Way, Tucson, AZ) at The University of Arizona, and is streamed live over the internet to enable remote attendance and participation by European teams participating in the SWAN project. This mechanism for scientific exchange is proving to be essential to the integration of efforts by overseas researchers and students with those of the University of Arizona and iGlobes/CNRS teams in Tucson.
